Fast, fluid and practical

Switched from Wikipanion to this app. Like the multi-lingual search and the ability to make articles online available easily.

Crashes 100% of the time at startup

Latest update makes the app crash 100% of the time at startup when using an iPhone 5s

Crashes upon opening the app

I updated this app, then cleared all my background apps, and since then as soon as I open Wikipedia the app crashes. However I notice it appears on my background apps but I am unable to open the app since it immediately crashes and goes back to my home screen.

100% crash rate on launch

App. crashes on launch 100% of the time. Other than that its pretty much always been great.

Latest version May 9, 2016 crashes

Since the update the app crashes ever time.

New update ruined the app

The newest update was a HUGE disappointment, it is constantly crashing. Super annoying

Updates finally make it work again

No more crashes!

Needs some work done on it

I cant create an account because it gives the alert "token parameter must be set"

Your App is in NEED of an UPDATE !!!

Prologue: I mostly use your app when I get stuck on a crossword puzzles on my iPad. I have been using Wikipedia, using Safari, since I bought my first iPad. I had been using the app but : - It keeps FREEZING (For 5 to 10 seconds) - Then it CRASHES - Then I have to "restart" the app. AT EVERY F*ING SEARCH I MAKE

It crashes every single time!!

Please fix. I love reading random crap and for about two months every time I go on it crashes immediately!!!!

There are no more crashes!

There arent anymore crashes guys

Crashes while Im looking at articles

Still crashing!! While others have had crash issues upon launch, I only have crash issues reading articles. Im using an iPhone 6s Plus

App taking up to much space

The latest update is taking up too much space for offline articles, & sometimes the app goes into crash mode. When it does this it uses up crazy amounts of data. Reinstalling the app did not remedy this. Please fix this.

Turns off suddenly

Every time I try to open the app, it automatically turns off after 1 minute, I love Wikipedia, I stay on it for more than 4 hours everyday reading articles. Would give it 5 stars if it wont crash

The greatest hall of knowledge

A genuinely very well made app

I downloaded the Wiki app out of convenience, as I tend to use the site a lot as an advanced dictionary. Most apps that replace websites are unremarkable, but this one is, as the title of this review says, genuinely very well made. Theres great features, its a good look, and it works quite fluidly. :)

Data drain

The latest version (Sept 2016) uses huge amounts of data. I think it has to do with having a lot of bookmarks. It used 3 gigs of data already this month and has maxed out my data plan. I am now paying for extra data because of Wikipedia. Please fix this. I cant afford it. The older version did not do this. I suspect the app reloads all of the content of every bookmarked page every time I navigate to a bookmarked page. I use airplane mode as much as possible on my iPhone and only turn on data when I need to load a page. I keep data off in the settings as much as possible now. Its not me or my phone causing this massive data waste and expense I dont think. I believe its the app. Help!

Most recent update regressed

The most recent update is very disappointing. They completely overhauled the app. Its features are more difficult to find and overall the app physically less intuitive to use. Its like going from an apple to a PC. Wish the developers would go back to the old layout. And, when I access Wikipedia on Safari, it immediately switches to the app. So now Im Unable to have multiple pages open at once.

Annoying as hell!

App will open itself if I rest my finger for a few moments on any part of the screen in other apps just to reload the last Wiki article I had loaded. Deleted.

Please add an option

Please make the Wikipedia for iOS more convenient when I need to change between languages to understand a particular term. Currently I have to know this term in different languages to search it in different language versions, this is really inconvenient, so I decided to switch back to the webpages. Hope you can improve it!
